Lyrics
Right, sometimes the passionless plight,
Will burn a hole in your soul
Heaving with such a strong allure, a wanderlust to roam
For surely there is a better place where every issue’s resolved
Hence, the need to find yourself engaged, more involved and…
Heading towards somewhere, migrating to someplace else, oh
You just need to be anywhere but here,
Away from bitter tears, although…
There is a larger arc towards the ultimate promise of joy
A dimension of discovery, a realm beyond the noise…
That discord distorted context
And clouded the aim of your core,
Keeping you mired within a rut and losing trust ’cause…
Everyone wants to get somewhere
Everyone’s searching for someplace else, oh
Constantly focused on some destination
With no realization that they’re already there
Everybody’s trying to get somewhere
Everyone wants to be someplace else, they’re
Trying to get to where the grass is greener,
To where the air is cleaner,
To where the means are meaner, alright…
We’d like to take some passionate flight
To see what the world has in store
The wonderment of discovering that which we crave to the core
Perhaps a bit of introspection, a sober mind which is clear
Will reveal this is happening now and here
Just look around you are somewhere,
A distinguished place unlike anywhere else, oh
You’ll arrive at that destination with the realization
That you are already there, already there
