Frequencies
Frequencies is the fifth and final major studio release by Sinclair Soul, released in digital form on December 31, 2023. Like all previous Sinclair Soul records, this album features the core trio of vocalist-musician-producer Ric Albano, multi-instrumentalist Bret Alexander and drummer Ron Simasek. Joining the trio on several tracks is guest vocalist Hana Muftic-Globisch.
Reaching the ideal combination of energetic solid rock along with seasoned and thoughtful compositions, Frequencies marks the pinnacle of the studio project Sinclair Soul which (including the previous title “Imaginary Lines”) dates back two decades. With 12 new original tracks and at nearly an hour in running time, this is also the largest record to date by volume.
Dare we declare this the last “real” rock n’ roll record? We sincerely hope not! But with the cascading trends in technology and musical tastes at the end of 2023, Frequencies marks both a suitable nod back to and a modern interpretation of the classic era of rock and roll.
